OUR INSTRUCTORS

Twenty years of cake decorating experience along with excellence in teaching brought me this far in the Cake Decorating field. Though I started decorating cakes as a hobby, I later joined the Wilton team and offered classes through the Toronto District School Board and Ice A Cake Institute. As an Instructor, I take joy in teaching and pass on what I have found as a passion to enthusiastic students. Years of dedication have earned me a Hall of Fame and President's Club award through the Wilton Institute of Cake Decorating. It was an honor to receive an invitation to share my passion with Rogers TV "Daytime Toronto" show and as a judge at the Mist Toronto Cake competition.

My passion for cake decorating started early in my life, inspired by a family friend.

Throughout this journey, despite many ups and downs, I was able to establish Dec-O-Cake in 2012. My skills as a cake designer, sugar flower artist, photographer, and international cake artist have supported hundreds of students to successfully develop their own business.

Sherin Rafeek

At a young age, I was obsessed with baking but grew up in a small town with minimal opportunities to learn new skills. I am happy to say I am a self-taught cake artist and created numerous cakes, cookies, and sweet treats for all occasions. As years went by I was confident enough to establish my home-based business. Furthermore, I got the opportunity to utilize my skills with Ice A Cake and started a teaching career.

Sabrina Rimzan
